Andrew Jack Randall
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather
A devout Elder. An Army Veteran.
A Dedicated and loving man of his Church and family all the days of his life.
Andrew Jack Randall was born on June 21st, 1943. Raised in small-town Washington, Jack graduated from Ferndale High School in 1961. He then served an honorable term in the U.S. Army as a Nike Electronics Test Equipment Repairer.
In these early years, Jack had established himself the ultimate life of the party; bold, brave, and “wild” as his long-time friends describe him. At a house party in the Fall of 1966 is where an equally bold, poised and iron-willed Liz Jenkins caught Jack’s eye for the first time. After exchanging phone numbers, and two weeks of pay-phone calls, Jack and Liz went on their first date. As Jack and Liz tell the story, “the rest is history” - a perfect match if there ever was one. Jack and Liz married on Saturday, August 12th, 1967.
Jack was well-known by his community for many years as their “Sears repair man” - everyone knew him, and his fun-loving personality was beloved by so many. Jack also served generously in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
His family describes Jack as explosive and fun, always looking for a way to make their time together the best time. Jack valued family above all else, and there was not a single thing in the world that made him happier.
He now joins his parents, Andy Randall and Bernice Nelson, and his brother, Gary Randall, in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jack is survived by his adoring wife of 57 years, Liz Randall. He also lives on in his children Lynda, Wade and his wife Rae, sister Sue and her husband John, grandchildren Boe, Haley, Connor and his wife Karen, Kole and Sydney, great granddaughter Gracey, nieces and nephew Candy, Jayme, and Tony, and many others who are blessed to call Jack their family.
His family is forever grateful for all the moments Jack made so special. His intentional dedication to the simple but most powerful joys in life is the legacy that will be carried on by all who loved him.
