RICHARD EUGENE DRAKE

Richard (Rich) Eugene Drake, age 70 of Everett, WA passed away Saturday

June 5, 2021 at home, surrounded by family after losing his fight to cancer.

Rich was born May 24, 1951, in Dedham, MA to Captain John and Frances

(Warren) Drake.

Rich was raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Portsmouth High School.

Rich moved to Washington to attended the University of Washington. He

went on to become a very accomplished Electrician which he continued until

his retirement.

Rich loved micro sprint racing, which he did for many years with his son and

then with his grandchildren. He also loved anything with trains, traveling,

playing his drums, spending time with family and cruising in his 1968 GTO.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents John and Frances, sisters Diane,

Mary and Donna, and brother-in-law Ted. Rich is survived by his son Eric

(Mandy) Drake, daughter Stephanie (Adam) Willey, grandchildren Dakota and

Peyton Drake, Jocelyn and Bryce Willey, brother Robert Drake, sisters Laura

(Dennis) Blackall, Cathy Coffey, Jean Fucile, Theresa (George) DeVine and many

nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Diane
